Grilled Bread

In this post I am sharing how to make Grilled Bread.

While you’re cooking out, why not grill your bread too. Toast up your favorite bakery load and give it some nice grill marks for a delicious side to your meal.

Grilled bread slathered in butter is a delicious side to your dinner that you’ve prepared on the grill. This is also a handy way to use up the rest of that bakery loaf that is at risk of going bad if not used up.

In my experience some of those fresh bakery loaves, although so delicious, don’t have a long shelf life. Well, nobody has money to throw away so be sure to use that bread quickly and enjoy it.

1 –  French Loaf – or a loaf of your favorite bread
1/2  – stick softened Butter

Slice your bread on the diagonal into 3/4 inch slices.

Spread on the softened butter. If you prefer, add any seasonings to the buttered bread – such as garlic or garlic powder, onion powder and cracked black pepper.

Place on the grill – about 2 minutes per side.
